VWS2: Integrative models of depressive-like behaviours in rodents - Mathias Schmidt
About
Mathias Schmidt is a group leader at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich. He is particularly interested in the behavioural, neuroendocrine and molecular mechanisms differentially impacted by stress during different life stages, on individual health and disease, with a focus on stress resilience.
In this workshop he will explore new avenues to improve depression-like modeling in mice to enhance translational validity and understand the neuropsychological roots of interindividual differences in depressive disorder.
