About
In April 2025, I attended two meetings organized by the Gordon Research Conferences in Ventura, California, USA: the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) f and the Gordon Research Conference (GRC). These events focused on the application of functional genomics to understand human brain development and disease.
The GRS was a great opportunity to meet other early-career researchers and share ideas in a friendly and supportive environment. At the GRS, I presented a poster with the results of in vitro platform of the SAME-NeuroID project.
The main GRC was a bigger event with experts from many fields, all interested in how genes influence brain development and disease. I was honored to be selected from submitted abstracts to present the SAME-NeuroID project as a short talk.
This experience gave me fresh energy and motivation to continue my work, and it was a perfect culmination of the SAME-NeuroID project.
This was my 1st GRC, and I hope it won’t be my last! :-)
