About
"Ghemme" is an historic Piedmont wine, recognised as D.O.C.G. in 1997, made from Nebbiolo grapes with a small percentage of Vespolina and Uva Rara. Celebrated by great writers such as Antonio Fogazzaro in “Piccolo mondo antico” (1895) and Mario Soldati in his short story “L'albergo di Ghemme” (1962), this noble wine continues to amaze with its elegance and longevity.
Our "Ghemme DOCG" is aged in oak barrels for over two years. Red colour with garnet reflections. Intense bouquet with aromas of blackberries, violets and spices. Savoury and persistent with balanced tannins.
