Good morning, my name is Giorgio Mallia, and today I'm proud to introduce our wine, NeroMallia 2024, a pure Nero d'Avola produced at our winery in Pachino, in southeastern Sicily.

Our vineyards are located in the Maccari area, between Pachino and Noto, one of the most prestigious areas for Nero d'Avola production. This unique terroir is characterized by calcareous, mineral-rich soils, strong sun exposure, and sea breezes from the nearby coast. These natural conditions allow the grapes to reach perfect ripeness, enhancing concentration, complexity, and elegance.

Nero Mallia is a pure Nero d'Avola that expresses the authentic identity of our terroir and our production philosophy.

In the glass, it displays a deep and intense ruby ​​red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers rich and elegant aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, followed by notes of plum, spice, and light balsamic hints, lending freshness and complexity.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, warm, and velvety, with soft, well-integrated tannins. It offers an excellent balance between fruit, structure, and freshness. The finish is long, persistent, and harmonious, leaving a pleasant sensation of ripe fruit and spice.

Nero Mallia is an excellent wine to pair with grilled meats, roasts, traditional Italian dishes, and aged cheeses. At the same time, it can also be enjoyed on its own as a high-quality wine for discerning consumers.
