MONFERRATO CHIARETTO DOC "EDENROSE"

The poetic name of this rose coloured wine reflects both the sensibility and the aesthetic touch of the owner of the winery, Sabine Ehrmann, and the charm and soul of the wonderful place where this wine is produced; an Eden where you can enjoy both the human spirituality and the spirituality of the nature.

In “Edenrose” freshness, body and round taste of Barbera grapes, harvested slightly earlier than the others, are perfectly balanced resulting in an original DOC meant to give the Rosé a new lease of life in a region of great red wines.

The grapes are picked at the beginning of September. After a 12 hour maceration they are then pressed at low pressure. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature.

The wine displays a bright rose colour. The bouquet reminds us of violets, roses and cherries. The taste is lively and fresh with a lingering after-taste hinting at fruits. “Edenrose” is best served at 8°-10°C and goes well with regional appetizers, light soups, fish and white meat. Perfect also as an aperitif.
