Das Blaue Netzwerk

Das Blaue Netzwerk (DBN) – a new project by Atrium Environmental – is a funding program for start-ups and SMEs in the Blue Economy, focusing on fisheries & aquaculture, shipping, tourism, and marine technology. It promotes sustainability, collaboration, and knowledge transfer to support the transformation of the Blue Economy toward greater sustainability.

The program is aimed at public-interest-oriented companies and those striving to become such. These companies work to improve social and environmental well-being, reinvest a large portion of their profits into the common good, and actively pursue a responsible and sustainable way of doing business.

DBN supports these companies in tackling three key challenges they often face:

1. Limited access to financial and human resources

2. Lack of recognition and visibility

3. A complex and constantly changing regulatory environment

To help navigate these challenges, DBN offers a comprehensive support program that includes sector-specific seminars, individual coaching sessions, an online knowledge platform, and networking events co-created with participating companies.
