Caritas Vienna

For the purpose of this plattform the Caritas Vienna projects related to ReUse and the wider circular economy are the most relevant. These include:

carla Secondhand shops: ReUse Shops accepting donations in kind from alle categories (clothes, furniture, homeware, games, toys and sporting equipment, books and media, etc.), sorting and selling them in local shops as well as online.

carla textile sorting: pilot project to increase textile sorting capacity in and around Vienna and sell as reusable textiles locally.

Sachspendenkoordination (coordinating the use of donations-in-kind): Collecting, sorting, storing and finding the best use for donations in kind that are handed out directly to different Caritas projects like homeless shelters, mother-child homes, housing for refugees, etc.).
