BioChem Energy s.r.o. is a research and development-oriented company focused on ecological technologies, particularly the development of innovative solutions for waste biomass processing, the production of alternative biofuels, and air decontamination technologies. Its professional focus is based on the long-standing research and development experience of its managing director, Ing. Maroš Palko, PhD. The managing director is actively involved in research projects carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice, including a project supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic and a project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA), focused on air decontamination technologies.
The company also seeks to deepen its commitment to the principles of the circular economy and is currently preparing for further development under the UP2CIRC call, aimed at supporting circular innovations and transforming business models toward a sustainable economy.
The goal of BioChem Energy s.r.o. is to build a bridge between academic research and industrial practice, and to develop its own research and development activities focused on environmental sustainability, the efficient use of biomass, and the advancement of environmentally beneficial technologies.
