About
· Design, optimization, and validation of analytical methodologies for pollutant target analysis, and development of workflows for suspect and non-target screening to identify emerging pollutants (including flame retardants, plasticizers, per fluoroalkyl substances (PFASs, among others).
· Source characterization and emission inventories from industrial and energy-related activities, with strategies for decontamination and safe destruction of POPs and EPs.
· Environmental occurrence and fate of POPs and EPs, including presence at national and international scales, transfer across ecological compartments, and bioaccumulation at different trophic levels.
· Human exposure assessment, addressing inhalation, ingestion, and dermal absorption pathways.
· Environmental risk assessment of POP and EP in diverse environmental samples.
