About
Partner Search – Open Composting Facility for Pre-Selected Biowaste
We are interested in finding experienced partners for the implementation of an open composting facility for the aerobic treatment of pre-selected biowaste within the framework of RIVCircular.
The project aims to develop and demonstrate a circular, environmentally sustainable solution for the separate collection, biological treatment and valorisation of biowaste, transforming organic waste into a useful compost/soil improver.
We are particularly interested in establishing partnerships with:

Composting technology providers with experience in open-air aerobic composting systems;

Waste management companies and operators experienced in the collection and treatment of separately collected biowaste;

Municipalities and public authorities interested in implementing local circular bio-waste management solutions;

Universities and research organisations specialising in organic waste treatment, composting, soil improvement and circular economy;

Environmental and engineering companies able to support facility design, permitting, monitoring and implementation;
-
SMEs and innovative companies developing technologies for biowaste valorisation, process monitoring and resource recovery.
The partnership would focus on the design, implementation, demonstration and optimisation of the composting facility, including the appropriate treatment process, monitoring of aerobic conditions, quality control of the produced compost and assessment of its potential use as a soil improver.
We are open to partners contributing technical expertise, technology, research capacity, operational experience, pilot-site experience or access to relevant waste streams and end-users.
