Building Circular Economy Capacities in Transition Regions

We support dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities with local companies, SMEs and commercial actors in Western Macedonia, leveraging established networks with trade associations and the Chamber of Commerce.

We organise practical training and capacity building activities for small businesses adapting to new sustainability requirements and digital tools, with a focus on circular economy practices.

We use Western Macedonia as a pilot region for just transition and sustainable practices in areas directly affected by the energy transition and de-lignification process.

We coordinate local workshops and co-creation activities with municipalities, businesses and regional stakeholders to validate and test project solutions on the ground.

We contribute to replication and long-term uptake actions by transferring the regional experience to other transition regions across Europe.
