Industrial symbioses

Heggvin Industrial Park is zoned for power-intensive and labor-intensive industries. The park currently hosts two companies: Sirkula Waste Management and Green Mountain Data Center.

We have an option agreement with Havila to establish a biogas plant, which will utilize surplus heat from Green Mountain, and we aim to explore synergies with Sirkula.

Our approach is proactive, focusing on programming the park for industrial symbiosis and increased value creation. The industrial park is also in the final stages of achieving BREEAM Community certification.

To succeed, we are actively seeking collaboration, expertise, and insights from other stakeholders. In particular, we are looking for competence in utilizing low-temperature surplus heat and best practices for industrial symbiosis. Our goal is to create a fully integrated system, where excess materials and waste from one company become valuable input for another, maximizing resource efficiency and sustainability.
