We are Bodegas Diez del Corral, a small family winery located in Anguciana, a charming village in Rioja Alta with barely 400 inhabitants, just 4 kilometers from Haro, in the very heart of the birthplace of fine Rioja Alta wines.

Our history goes back to the mid-1800s, when our family was already making wine. At that time, we sold grapes in bulk and wine in barrels to Bordeaux, even before the arrival of phylloxera. As happens in many families, the passing of time brought difficult moments: the family grew, dark times arrived, and much of that legacy was nearly lost. However, it was my grandfather who kept the flame of wine alive, preserving the tradition with effort and care. Today, it is my father, Ricardo, who has revived that spirit and successfully restored and relaunched a project built on essence, tradition, and innovation.

For us, Anguciana is much more than our origin – it is our identity. Our goal is not only to grow the winery, but also to foster the development of the village, striving to consolidate a collaborative economy.

We own 5 hectares of vineyards, mainly planted with Tempranillo and Maturana, which we cultivate and care for with dedication to ensure quality from the vine to the bottle.

The essence of our winery is reflected even in our labels, inspired by the landscapes surrounding our vineyards: Las Peñas de Gembres, the Sierra Cantabria, the Cuevas del Toloño, and one very special element – the Crucero, a cross placed by our grandfather as a marker in the vineyard, which still stands today as a symbol of our roots.

Looking ahead, we are working on a very special project using grapes from a vineyard over 100 years old, with the aim of producing a unique red wine in the next 3–4 years.

We firmly believe in quality, exclusivity, and craftsmanship, offering wines that reflect our passion and respect for tradition.

Today, projects like ours, from small family wineries, stand out for their authenticity and the value they bring to every bottle.
