With a history of vine-growing dating back generations, and relying exclusively on his own vineyard to bottle the essence of Rioja Oriental, Domeco de Jarauta is based around the town of Aldeanueva de Ebro in Rioja Oriental. The new winery itself was set up in 2005 and enthusiastic grape grower and winemaker Jose Vicente Domeco de Jarauta produces, with a strong commitment to sustainability and traditional winemaking practices, an amazing range of crafted wines, from young unoaked Joven through to a Crianza and Gran Reserva, with ageing taking place in French and American oak.
