Akatale BV

Akatale BV is a Netherlands-based sourcing and trading company connecting European and international buyers with traceable agricultural products from Uganda. Green coffee is our principal product and the core of our commercial focus.

We source export-ready Ugandan green coffee through established relationships with producers, processors and exporters at origin. Our current portfolio includes washed Fine Robusta from Ibanda and washed Arabica from the Bugisu and Mbale growing regions. We work with roasters, coffee importers and distributors seeking reliable access to Ugandan coffee with clearly defined specifications, consistent quality and transparent origin information.

Our coffee supply can be supported by samples, moisture and screen-size specifications, traceability records and EUDR-ready documentation. We can also structure supply according to the buyer’s required grade, processing method, volume, delivery schedule and destination market. Our objective is to build recurring supply relationships rather than depend on isolated spot transactions.

Ugandan vanilla is our second key product. We aim to supply vanilla to ingredient distributors, food and beverage manufacturers, flavour companies and other professional buyers requiring dependable access to East African origin products.

Alongside coffee and vanilla, we can source selected Ugandan fresh produce, including tropical fruits, vegetables and traditional food products, depending on seasonality, required volumes and buyer specifications. Fresh produce complements our core portfolio but is not our primary commercial focus.

At Riga Food 2026, Akatale BV is seeking roasters, importers, distributors, food manufacturers and long-term commercial partners interested in sourcing coffee and vanilla from Uganda. We can support qualified buyers with product samples, specifications, pricing discussions, documentation and coordinated supply from origin to destination.
