Clean cooking in Rwanda, an example to combat deforestation across the continent

Biomass remains Rwanda’s dominant cooking fuel, contributing to deforestation, indoor air pollution, and significant adverse health effects for women and children. This session will shed light on the new initiative launch by the Government of Rwanda and Bboxx to accelerate the transition away from firewood and charcoal, supporting Rwanda’s energy and climate goals.
