Alight (formerly the American Refugee Committee, founded in 1978) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people displaced by conflict and crisis. Since the onset of the war in Ukraine in 2022, Alight has been actively responding in both Poland and Ukraine — providing safe housing, essential services, psychosocial care, and long-term recovery support to communities affected by displacement. Guided by the belief that every person has the right to build a meaningful life, Alight works alongside local partners to co-create solutions that restore dignity, hope, and opportunity.
