QANTOS GmbH is a medium-sized company with approximately 180 employees, primarily operating as a system and component supplier for small to medium production series in the European rail vehicle industry, founded in 2001.

Initially focused on the development and manufacturing of GFRP components, the company has gradually expanded its expertise to include metal technologies and various surface coating processes. Today, QANTOS offers a comprehensive value chain in both technology areas, providing customers with high flexibility and fast implementation – especially in projects with small to medium quantities, short lead times, and frequent development and optimization cycles.

QANTOS is recognized by customers in the rail vehicle industry as a technically proficient developer and manufacturer of the following components:

• Interior lining assemblies and systems for passenger car bodies, driver’s cabs, and locomotives

• Assemblies and systems for exterior applications, especially for vehicle front ends, car body roofs, and locomotives
