About
The project aims to ensure reliable wastewater treatment in compliance with European and national environmental standards, improve the facility's energy efficiency, and minimize the negative impact on the environment (the Uzh River basin).
The complex will be energy-efficient, attractive to investors, and safe and comfortable for living.
A three-stage wastewater treatment scheme is envisaged.
Stage 1 – mechanical treatment: removal of large debris, sand, and suspended solids.
Stage 2 – complete biological treatment: extensive biochemical processing of dissolved organic matter using activated sludge and aeration.
Stage 3 – treated water disinfection: final disinfection of the wastewater prior to discharge into a water body.
List of equipment required for the comprehensive implementation of all stages:

Screening grids, grit chambers, primary clarifiers.

Aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers, oxygen supply systems.

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection or chlorination.
The estimated cost of implementing the project is €10 million.
