Structured BIM Information Management for Reconstruction Programmes
About
Reconstruction in Ukraine is being delivered as dozens of parallel, funded projects — schools, hospitals, district heating, water and wastewater systems — each with its own contractors, timelines and reporting obligations to international financial institutions. Without a shared information framework, this fragmentation creates duplicated surveys, inconsistent as-built records, and reporting gaps that slow disbursement and complicate audits.
BuildEXT provides structured digital information management for multi-stakeholder reconstruction programmes, built on ISO 19650 principles. Rather than managing BIM as a modelling exercise, we set up the information framework a programme needs from day one: Exchange Information Requirements aligned with donor reporting formats, a shared common data environment across contractors and municipalities, and a digital quality assurance process that reduces coordination risk before it reaches the construction site.
For reconstruction specifically, this includes Scan-to-BIM capture of existing structures to establish a verified baseline before design begins, and structured as-built documentation at handover — giving municipalities and financing institutions an accurate, queryable digital record of what was actually built, not just what was designed.
We are looking to connect with companies, organisations, and municipal project owners running multi-site reconstruction portfolios who need a consistent information backbone across projects rather than project-by-project ad hoc documentation. We can act as a delivery partner integrated into an existing programme structure, or set up the digital framework a partner requires from local implementing contractors.
