Managed presence works like this: the client has a real, fully functioning operation in Ukraine — but isn't the one running it day to day.

The entity is live and compliant. It files on time, pays corporate taxes and statutory contributions, settles with counterparties, and keeps clean books that hold up to an audit or a bank's questions. To the outside world — to the tax authorities, to banks, to partners, to the client's own employees — it's a normal, properly run Ukrainian company.

The people are employed and paid correctly. Salaries go out on schedule, payroll taxes and unified social contributions are calculated and remitted, employment contracts and the personnel file (трудова книжка, orders, leave records) are kept the way Ukrainian labour law requires. If someone goes on maternity leave, changes their rate, or leaves, it's handled properly and on time.

And the routine sits with us. Accounting, payroll runs, tax filings, government reporting, contract administration, migration paperwork for foreign staff, the constant small correspondence with banks and authorities — the work that quietly eats a founder's week — is ours to carry. The client gets visibility and control over the decisions that matter, without the operational load underneath them.
