Modular vegetable oil production for sustainable and strategical value chain improvement.
About
Hepta’s technology revolves around small, modular crushers designed to produce high-quality vegetable oils directly from oilseeds.
Each unit processes approximately 1 ton of oilseeds per hour, equivalent to around 8 000 tons per year, offering a compact yet industrially capable solution.
This modular approach empowers farmers and agricultural associations to establish localized crushing facilities, adding significant value to their crops and land while improving logistics efficiency.
For reference, 1 ton of vegetable oil is valued at roughly €1 000, compared to just €350 for unprocessed seed — a threefold increase in market value.
The modular units can be installed in parallel, scaling production without the complexity or internal logistics challenges of conventional large-scale refineries.
The resulting vegetable oil is a high-demand commodity, benefitting from offtake contracts at market pricing.
With the European Union steadily increasing its biofuel production quotas, the demand for sustainable vegetable oils is set to grow substantially under EU RED III frameworks.
Hepta’s modular technology enables proportionate investments and strategic deployment in regions that are often inaccessible to large industrial facilities, ensuring flexibility, rapid implementation, and local economic benefit.
