About

KRAINA AUTO – Ledómotors Automotive Ukraine

Project Overview

KRAINA AUTO is Ukraine’s first national electric vehicle initiative, developed by Ledómotors Automotive Ukraine LLC with full institutional recognition from the Ukrainian Government.

The project aims to establish a full-cycle EV and battery production ecosystem in Ukraine — combining design excellence, industrial capacity, and European technology partnerships.

Vehicle Lineup

  1. Civil Electric Crossover
A modern, efficient EV designed for Ukrainian and European consumers, offering European quality, local production, and sustainable performance.

  2. Electric Police Vehicle
Developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine, this vehicle is optimized for operational reliability, low running costs, and green mobility in law enforcement.

  3. Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV)
Designed for the needs of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and security units — a robust, modular electric platform for military and humanitarian use.

All three vehicles share a common design DNA, led by a design team including Pininfarina alumni, ensuring modern aesthetics and world-class engineering.

Team & Leadership

  • Founder: Valerii Ledogovsky – visionary entrepreneur and industry leader behind the KRAINA AUTO concept.

  • Co-founder: Mattias – European automotive strategist with extensive OEM experience.

  • Design Team: Experienced European designers, including former Pininfarina specialists.

The first model will be developed on an existing, adaptable EV platform (to be selected), followed by the creation of a proprietary Ukrainian modular EV platform for future scalability.

Production & Infrastructure

  • A production facility is already secured in Ukraine, equipped for initial assembly and scalable for localized component manufacturing.

  • The project roadmap includes full integration of battery assembly, energy storage, and recycling in later phases.

Governmental Support

The project has formal recognition and written endorsements from:

  • Ministry of Economy of Ukraine – project eligible under Ukraine Facility (EU funding).

  • Ministry of Infrastructure and Community Development – aligned with National Transport Strategy 2030.

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs – export support via Nazovni platform.

  • Ministry of Internal Affairs & National Police – cooperation for police and tactical EVs.

  • Office of the President of Ukraine – registered within national innovation initiatives.

Vision

KRAINA AUTO represents Ukraine’s industrial independence and green recovery, aiming to become a European hub for electric mobility.

By combining local production, international design, and state-backed support, the project is ready to attract strategic investors and technology partners for the next stage of Ukraine’s automotive future.
