Podillya rehabilitation and medical technology Cluster ReMeT

Core Activities:

• Comprehensive rehabilitation encompassing physical, mental, and social recovery.

• Production of assistive technologies and prosthetics.

• Implementation of medical technologies (MedTech) and creation of a barrier-free environment.

Strengths and Unique Value Proposition:

• Broad geographical coverage: The core of the cluster is located in Vinnytsia, and its activities extend across a 250 km radius, covering the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, and Kyiv regions.

• Multidisciplinary ecosystem: The cluster comprises private and public medical institutions, rehabilitation centers (physical and mental), prosthetics and orthotics manufacturers, MedTech developers, architects of barrier-free environments, universities, and veteran NGOs.

• Growth dynamics: The current base includes over 25 partner organizations and experts.

• "One-Stop-Shop" approach: The cluster provides an integrated beneficiary journey that sequentially includes medical treatment, rehabilitation (physical and mental), social integration, retraining, and employment.

• Platform for innovation (Matching): ReMeT provides IT startups and manufacturers with direct access to clinical facilities for the validation and testing of innovative products, as well as to receive expert support.

Institutional Capacity and Sustainability:

• Policy impact: The cluster is a member of the Accessibility Council under the Vinnytsia City Council, where it actively participates in shaping local inclusive policies.

Partnership Proposition (Call to Action):

• The cluster openly invites European healthcare clusters, MedTech innovators, and international donors to collaborate in co-creating effective solutions in the field of rehabilitation.

• ReMeT is interested in forming consortia for the joint preparation of grant projects, specifically for the Horizon Europe and Interreg programs, as well as in building international networks.
