Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation

The Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI) was created within the executive branch of the Presidency of the Republic, by Law N° 18.719 of 2010. In Article 98, the AUCI is considered a decentralized body, which will act with technical autonomy and will communicate with the Executive Branch through the Presidency of the Republic. The following articles (99 and 100) establish its tasks and functions, as well as its integration. It is therefore an organ of the central administration - Presidency of the Republic.
