About

I offer research expertise in applied artificial intelligence, with a focus on deep learning and computer vision across multiple domains, including precision agriculture, medical image analysis, and education. My research has resulted in 20+ peer-reviewed publications covering object detection for smart farming (YOLO, Faster R-CNN), medical diagnosis using CNNs (pneumonia, cancer detection), edge AI deployment, and LLMs for Slavic languages. I have published in IEEE, Springer, and MDPI journals and conferences. I have hands-on experience with high-performance computing infrastructure, including an active EuroHPC Development Access allocation on the LUMI supercomputer. I have participated in multiple EU-funded projects.

I am based at the Faculty of Information Systems and Technology, University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro, where I teach deep learning, data structures, and programming courses. I also coordinate DevelopersLab, a developer education community. Incoming MSCA fellows would benefit from access to HPC resources, active EU project networks, and interdisciplinary collaboration spanning computer vision, agriculture, medicine, and digital heritage.
