MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship Candidates in Immunometabolic–Chromatin Axis (IMCA) in Celiac Disease
About
The University of Oulu invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher (MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow) to join a project uncovering how inflammatory signals reshape intestinal epithelial differentiation via the immunometabolic–chromatin axis in celiac disease (CeD).
The project builds on our recent findings in patient transcriptomes and human intestinal organoids showing that inflammation suppresses key metabolic pathways required for chromatin‑active metabolites, leading to impaired histone modifications and loss of villus epithelial identity (Dotsenko et al. 2024, Nature Immunology) .
The postdoctoral fellow will work in an interdisciplinary environment combining epigenomics, transcriptomics, metabolism, intestinal biology, and disease modelling.
