DITES brings to the consortium a distinctive and multidimensional contribution that spans three interconnected dimensions.

1. The Centre has consolidated research programmes addressing the governance of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings, the design of inclusive digital learning environments, and the critical social-scientific study of technology-mediated knowledge practices. These competencies directly address the thematic priorities identified in the Horizon Europe Missions and the Digital Education Action Plan of the European Commission (2021–2027).

2. DITES operates well-established doctoral and postdoctoral programmes that provide incoming seconded staff with a structured, intellectually stimulating, and professionally enriching research environment.
