MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship Host

I am available to host and supervise excellent candidates applying to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships. My research sits at the interface of food science, biomanufacturing/bioprocessing, and AI/ML, with an emphasis on building impactful, application-driven projects and supporting candidates throughout proposal development.

Possible research directions

• Bioactive peptide discovery with AI (screening/design, activity prediction, structure–function relationships)

• AI/ML for food & biomanufacturing: predictive models, optimisation, process monitoring and control

• Data-driven bioprocess development: bioreactors, fermentation/bioconversion, scale-up strategies

• Sustainable food systems: resource efficiency, waste valorisation, circular bioeconomy approaches

Candidates with a PhD (or near completion) and strong motivation for interdisciplinary research. Backgrounds may include food science, biotechnology, bioprocess/biochemical engineering, computational biology, machine learning/data science, or related fields.
