About
Associate Professor Francisco Manuel Baena Moreno, from Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Seville (USE), welcomes postdoctoral candidates interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) in 2026 at this University. Please note that applicants must comply with the Mobility Rule and with all the elegibility requirements for candidates.
Brief description of the Research Group
The group of SUstainable Process EngineeRing for circular ECOnomy (SUPER ECO group) is a young group of researchers working on for main topics, all of them led towards sustianable processes: catalytic processes; thermochemical processes; CO2 capture, storage and utilization; and Bioproducts production processes. We welcome applications from candidates who want to expand their knowledge in these fields.
Project description
Catalytic processes; Thermochemical processes; CO2 capture, storage and utilization; Bioproducts production processes. Examples of projects in these areas can be CO2 conversion to products in biogas streams, biochemicals production, and valorization of waste, all of them both from experimental and modeling perspectives.

Any nationality (European Fellowship) / European national or long-term resident of a Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country (Global Fellowship)

Be in a possession of a doctoral degree (PhD)

Have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date of award of the doctoral degree

Comply with the mobility rule: not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), or in the country of the host organisation for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.

Therefore, if you are ultimately selected to submit your application alongside Associate Professor Francisco Manuel Baena Moreno, you will be able to benefit from this institutional support.
Furthermore, the researchers with Marie Curie postdoctoral contracts at USE will be considered for a faculty position at the end of their contract, as the USE includes MSCA PF fellows in its annual researcher stabilization plan, as a specific measure to retain excellent researchers.
