About

I am a postdoctoral plant biologist investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that control plant reproductive development. My expertise spans cell wall biosynthesis, arabinogalactan proteins (AGPs), and calcium signaling, combining genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and advanced microscopy techniques such as confocal imaging and immunolocalization. I aim to link fundamental plant biology with applications for crop reproductive success and resilience under changing environments. I hold a PhD in Biology (University of Minho, 2024) and have extensive experience in collaborative, interdisciplinary research projects.
