Associate Professor/ Higher Education Leader & Accreditation Expert at The Georgian State University of Sport

About

We are building a consortium to submit a competitive proposal for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges call.

Project Focus: Our research and innovation (R&I) project aims to investigate the specific linguistic, cognitive, and intercultural communication demands within elite Olympic sports (e.g., Judo, Wrestling). The core output will be the co-creation of innovative pedagogical materials and digital tools (e.g., specialized ESP coursebooks, interactive modules) for athletes, coaches, and officials.

Our Expertise: We bring proven leadership from the ongoing EU-funded PROSPECTS project on sports ESP. Our team includes experts in international accreditation (BAC, NAQA), higher education pedagogy, and sports science from The Georgian State University of Sport.

We Seek Partners: We are looking for consortium members, including:

  • Universities & Research Institutes: With expertise in Sports Science, Applied Linguistics, Pedagogy, or Instructional Design.

  • Non-Academic Partners: National Olympic Committees, elite sports federations, high-performance training centers, or EdTech companies.

  • All partners must be independent legal entities eligible for MSCA and interested in hosting/sending staff for extended knowledge-exchange secondments.

Goal: To design a transnational, intersectoral project that advances sports education through research-driven innovation and builds long-term collaborative networks.
