About VIOIT:

The Vietnam Institute of Strategy and Policy for Industry and Trade (VIOIT) is a public research entity under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. We are Vietnam's leading policy research institute for industrial and trade strategy.

Our Research Focus:

• Industrial strategy and policy (dairy, steel, automotive, supporting industries)

• Trade policy and international integration (cross-border e-commerce, global value chains, FTAs)

• Sustainable development and green transition (circular economy, green supply chains)

• SME development and value chain analysis

Our Objective:

We are actively seeking to join an MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 consortium as a Beneficiary, contributing unique value through:

• Direct access to Vietnamese policymakers at the Ministry of Industry and Trade

• Extensive industry networks through the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

• On-the-ground research capabilities and access to Vietnamese economic and industrial data

• Hosting opportunities for Doctoral Candidates for secondments and fieldwork in Vietnam

Current Engagement:

We are actively engaging with several potential European partners through initial discussions and exploratory meetings, including:

• CIRAD (France) – initial meeting scheduled to explore collaboration on sustainable agri-food value chains

• CSIRO – Aus4Innovation (Australia) – initial meeting confirmed to explore research collaboration

• Sylvanity B.V. (Netherlands) – initial meeting scheduled to explore AI collaboration for MSCA Doctoral Networks

• Transylvania Labs (Romania) – initial meeting scheduled to explore Digital Twin/AI collaboration

• Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Vietnam / CCIFV – meeting confirmed to explore Horizon Europe partnership opportunities

We are open to expanding our consortium with additional complementary partners, particularly in the fields of:

• Industrial policy and trade economics

• Sustainable development and circular economy

• AI/data science for policy analysis

• Agricultural value chains and food systems

• SME development and innovation
