Expert in Food Biotechnology & Sustainable Biodisinfection | Bridging Academic Excellence and Industrial Innovation

I am a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow holding an International PhD (Cum Laude) in Food Safety from the University of Jaén, developed in close collaboration with the Université de Strasbourg. My research expertise lies at the cutting edge of food biotechnology, antimicrobials, and microbial resistance. Throughout my career, I have specialized in designing sustainable biodisinfection strategies by investigating inter-specific microbial relationships and protective biofilms. This academic path is backed by a robust scientific output of 38 peer-reviewed papers—with 26 published in top-tier Q1 journals —an h-index of 12 , and active mentorship, having supervised 1 PhD, 9 Master's, and 15 Bachelor's theses.

Demonstrating early scientific independence, I have successfully served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for two competitive international postdoctoral projects funded by FAPESP (Brazil) in collaboration with France. These projects allowed me to pioneer new lines of research in biocontrol and establish strong, lasting international networks across Spain, France, and Brazil.

What strongly distinguishes my profile within the MSCA marketplace is my extensive intersectoral experience and proven capabilities in technology transfer. I spent several years in the chemical and food industries acting as an Innovation Project Manager and Microbiology Manager for high-impact multinational corporations (such as AC Marca and AMC Natural Drinks). In these roles, I managed international cross-functional teams of over 20 laboratory professionals , successfully translated laboratory formulations into commercial disinfectants currently on the market , and co-invented 2 industrial patents for biological control and food safety . I am looking to leverage this powerful combination of top-tier academic research and corporate leadership for impactful, collaborative R&D projects.
