About

We specialize in the design and synthesis of conjugated polymers tailored for advanced organic electronic devices. Our expertise spans:

  • Organic Photovoltaics (OPV): Development of high-efficiency donor–acceptor polymers and polymer:fullerene blends engineered for enhanced light absorption, charge transfer, and long-term stability. Synthesis of self-assemply monolayer materials for OPV and perovskite solar cells.

  • Organic Photodetectors (OPD): Creation of sensitive, broadband-responsive conjugated materials designed to deliver low-noise, high-speed detection performance.

  • Photocatalysis: Fabrication of photocatalytically active conjugated polymer systems that leverage light-driven charge separation to enable solar-to-hydrogen conversion for sustainable applications.

  • Organic Electrochemical Transistors (OECT): Engineering biocompatible and conductive conjugated polymers optimized for volumetric ionic-electronic coupling—ideal for high-performance, aqueous-based electronic devices.

  • Organic Light-Emitting Diodes (OLED): Formulation of emissive conjugated polymer matrices exhibiting tailored energy levels and photoluminescence properties for efficient light generation and tunable color outputs.

  • Organic Thin-Film Transistors (OTFT): Development of semiconducting conjugated polymers with fine-tuned charge-carrier mobility and film morphology for reliable, low-voltage transistor operation.

Our approach blends synthetic chemistry with detailed structure–property–device evaluations, enabling us to iteratively refine polymer architectures—side-chain modifications, backbone engineering, and processing methodologies—to align with the rigorous performance demands of organic electronic technologies.
