Personal Data Protection in the Digital Age: A Comparative Study of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Palestinian Legislation
About
This study addresses the issue of personal data protection amidst the rapid digital expansion, through a comparative analysis of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Palestinian legislation. It aims to examine the legal foundations, regulatory concepts, and implementation mechanisms adopted by both systems, with a focus on the extent to which Palestinian legislation aligns with international standards in this domain. The research also explores the technical and legal challenges facing privacy protection in Palestine, and offers a critical perspective on the development of the local legal framework in light of leading European practices
