ANGOKA is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Belfast with offices in London and The Hague. Our mission is to build quantum-secure solutions for machine-to-machine communication to safeguard connected high-value assets and process across all domains, from land, to air, to space. ANGOKA has developed and patented a unique and dynamic solution based on immutable hardware identities. It rests on general principles that make it applicable to many different verticals. Uniquely, the technology does not rely on traditional network security and can establish trusted communication between devices, even over an untrusted network. ANGOKA is involved in several public-funded pilot deployment projects of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. It is an active participant in the Government's Future Flight Programme, working to secure drone communication. ANGOKA is also operating in the space arena: in one ESA project we aim to ensure seamless secure communication for drones over hybrid 5G terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. In an UKSA funded project we work on secure optical communication for space applications. ANGOKA's Q*Link platform, a novel ‘Symmetric QKD Hybrid’ paradigm, uses a QKD exchange as a ‘Root of Trust’ and through a patented ‘Quantum Key Amplification’ protocol, takes QKD key material to generate a larger set of keys that are then distributed to the end point connected devices, securing end-to-end communication using classical symmetric key cryptographic primitives, effectively extending the reaches of QKD beyond its optical limits to the end-points over classical data links, thus solving the ‘last-mile’ problem.
