Startup/scaleup
Milan, ItalyGeen is an AI layer (not a new platform) that sits on top of existing health, welfare and insurance systems to help people find the right route to care faster, while giving organisations clear, actionable data.
Technically, Geen combines a GraphRAG architecture (that makes services, providers and pathways machine-readable) with a decision engine for pre-triage and a conversational copilot that can be embedded in portals people already use (hospital portals, insurer portals, corporate welfare, social care access points). Starting from everyday language (“I’ve had vertigo for weeks”, “I’m caring for a parent with dementia”), Geen suggests the most appropriate next step, prioritising in-network and already-funded options.
For health and social care systems, this means reduced time-to-care, fewer inappropriate referrals and better allocation of limited resources, with analytics on where people get lost, which services are under- or over-used, and how needs differ by age, gender and socio-economic background.
Geen is currently working with public and private healthcare providers and employers, and is now looking to validate its AI layer in new geographies through real-world pilots.
