Data Safe Havens allow accredited researchers and companies access to sensitive data. EPCC hosts the following healthcare-specific Data Safe Havens on its data/compute infrastructure.
The Scottish National Safe Haven (>5million people) provides access to:
•All routine medical images between 2010 and 2018 (2.5 billion images)
•All prescribed medications in Scotland since 2010 (>1 billion rows)
•And all hospital admissions, deaths, births, mental, trauma, pregnancy, ...
DataLoch (>900,000 people) provides access to:
•Both broad and deep range of routine healthcare data from NHS Lothian region.
•Primary care (GPs), geospatial info, socioeconomic, prescriptions, wards and hospital events.
SteatoSITE (~1400 people) provides access to:
•Carefully curated and linked data set to study non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
•Demographics, co-morbidities, lab tests, fibroscan results, liver-related and co-morbid clinical events, procedures and outcomes, deaths, medications
