Aethernova

Aethernova is a deep-tech medtech startup developing a next-generation XR-AI platform for neurodevelopmental assessment, starting with autism, ADHD, and related conditions. Our immersive diagnostic experiences integrate multimodal biosensing (eye-tracking, EEG, HRV, voice, movement) with explainable AI to provide culturally-adaptive, dimensional insights—moving beyond outdated binary tools like ADOS-2.

Built on OpenXR and designed with epistemic humility, our platform supports early diagnosis, continuous monitoring, and tailored care pathways across diverse populations. We prioritise clinical interoperability, NICE-alignment, GDPR compliance, and readiness for EU MDR, NHS, and global regulatory frameworks.

Our work spans AI ethics, human-computer interaction, and neurodiverse design—offering scalable solutions for both health systems and underserved regions, including use cases in mental health, education, and defence (e.g., PTSD assessment).

We are currently building international partnerships across academia, healthcare providers, and AI research ecosystems.
