About
Rehabilia Technologies emerged as a spin-off from the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) in May 2023, marking a significant transition from academic research to practical innovation in neuromotor rehabilitation. The company's inception was driven by the founders' commitment to translating their extensive research experience (a combined 30+ years) into tangible solutions that could substantially impact patients with neuromotor disorders.
The company was founded by three CNR researchers: Matteo Malosio, Matteo Lavit Nicora, and Giovanni Tauro. Their collaboration began during CNR research projects, where they discovered their complementary skills in mechanical design, software engineering and robotics. This synergy, together with years of experience in developing robotic devices for rehabilitation, led to the creation of the first prototype of the flagship product PhiCube. Recently, Sarah Behnam joined the founding team, bringing crucial business expertise to complement the technical skills of the original founders. This addition marks a strategic step towards combining company's technological and business skills.
Our journey, though relatively young, has been marked by significant worldwide achievements and recognitions.
