tenderly.ai predictive care intelligence for ageing-at-home
CEO and founder at The Care Hub
Timisoara, Romania
About
tenderly.ai aims to develop and validate AI‑driven models that transform routine home‑care observations into actionable insights for older adults, their families, and their clinicians.
The care journey of an older adult is not a linear progression, but an unstable and highly sensitive trajectory influenced by physical health, emotional wellbeing, functional ability, and environmental factors. Therefore, the project’s objective is not merely to record a snapshot of the older adult’s condition after each caregiver or nurse visit, but to leverage AI solutions to interpret their evolving “care curve” and anticipate deviations before they escalate into crises.
By analyzing data captured during every home‑care interaction—vital signs, symptoms, pain reports, mobility, cognitive cues, emotional state, and the nature of services provided, Tenderly.ai seeks to create a continuous, personalized model of the aging‑in‑place experience. This model will translate complex observations into clear, accessible language tailored to each stakeholder: simplified guidance for older adults, emotionally supportive and transparent updates for families, and structured clinical insights for physicians.
The Paradigm Shift
tenderly.ai represents a transition from reactive home care to predictive, preventative care management. Instead of responding only when an older adult experiences a fall, dehydration, functional decline, uncontrolled pain, or emotional deterioration, the system aims to detect early indicators and recommend timely interventions. These may include increased monitoring, hydration reminders, adjustments to medication routines (in collaboration with clinicians), mobility exercises, or emotional support strategies.
We are looking for a consortium partner (either research organization or company) from Strong Innovation Regions / Innovation Leaders (e.g., Zealand, Northern Netherlands, Scotland) with AI expertise that could lead the AI development module.
