About
We design and integrate tiered air‑safety architectures for hospitals:
(1) Real‑time triggers (UV‑LIF class) to monitor fluorescent bioaerosols and detect spikes near procedures/wards;
(2) Targeted identification via air‑to‑liquid collectors + PCR/dPCR/CRISPR or electrochemical immunosensors for defined pathogen panels (e.g., respiratory viruses, MRSA)—result in tens of minutes when fully integrated;
(3) Periodic metagenomics/NGS for “unknowns” and epidemiology.
Results feed the digital twin & control layer to increase ventilation/filtration, guide workflows, and log data for EHDS‑compatible secondary use (privacy‑preserving, panel‑based, non‑diagnostic environmental surveillance). We correlate bioaerosol signals with CO₂/occupancy and thermal conditions to generate actionable alerts and continuous quality indicators.
Note: This is environmental surveillance (not a clinical diagnostic). Implementation includes Infection Control, Biosafety, and local IVD rules.
