LIVING LAB: FONDAZIONE ELISABETTA GERMANI ETS
Eu project manager at Fondazione Elisabetta Germani ETS
Cingia de botti (Cremona), Italy
About
Fondazione Elisabetta Germani ETS has been caring for the elderly and adults with disability for 125 years in Cingia de' Botti, a small village in Lombardia. Being rooted in this territory means we work closely with families, citizens and the whole local community.
We manage a multi-service structure offering residential, semi-residential and home-care services. Overall, we count 12 units, including a Nursing Home, a specialized Alzheimer's Center, Intermediate Care, and a Unit for Disability at residential level, a Day-Care Center at semi-residential level and Outpatient clinics — supporting over 300 patients and 200 families with a team of 280+ professionals.
Our particular area of excellence is the Dementia Supply Chain, combining clinical care with research on age-friendly environments and innovative technologies.
Our Living Lab makes the Foundation's patients, caregivers and care settings available to external partners for co-designing, testing and validating new products, services and technologies. This includes digital health tools as well as organizational and environmental innovations.
