Ateleris GmbH

Ateleris GmbH is a Swiss software engineering company specializing in end-to-end software for space, from onboard flight software through ground data pipelines to user-facing platforms. Founded in 2016 as a spin-off from FHNW (Institute for Data Science) and headquartered in Brugg, Switzerland, we are a team of 16 engineers and specialists serving 25+ clients across space, energy, logistics, and the public sector.

We are proud to have code operational in orbit today, onboard the STIX X-ray telescope on ESA's Solar Orbiter mission (TRL 9 since 2020). Beyond STIX, our active ESA portfolio spans GSTP, ARTES, FLPP, and PRODEX, including a prime contract for formally verified TM/TC protocol generation and the flight-segment lead for E2EQSS (post-quantum cryptography for satellite links).

We engineer end-to-end in three dimensions: across the software lifecycle (vision → operations), along the data flow (onboard → multi-source analysis), and through the technology stack (embedded C to Python/ML). Our work combines agile iteration with the rigor of ECSS and CCSDS processes.
