Digital biomarkers
CEO at Ephion Health

About
Ephion Health is a digital health company delivering a hardware-agnostic AI platform that transforms mobility data into clinically validated digital biomarkers. We generate objective, sensitive measures of functional capacity in people with mobility-impairing diseases, enabling pharma companies to de-risk drug development and providing clinicians with precise, data-driven decision-support tools.
By shifting the primary endpoint from in-clinic tests to remote monitoring (e.g., a remote 10-meter walk), we reduce the "friction" and burden on patients. This promotes equity of access, allowing patients in remote areas to participate in high-quality clinical research and receive personalized monitoring without frequent travel.
Ephion establishes an automated data pipeline that turns complex biomechanical data into standardized insights. This facilitates a shift from reactive patient monitoring to early diagnosis and preventive medicine, with the long-term goal of identifying health risks before physical symptoms even appear.
