Łukasiewicz – Institute of Polymer Materials Engineering is a part of one of the largest research networks in Europe. We specialize in advanced polymer technologies, including elastomers, coatings, composites, and bioplastics. Our activities cover the full innovation cycle: from materials research and prototyping to industrial implementation and technology transfer.
We support both civilian and dual-use applications by developing high-performance polymer-based solutions, testing methods, and specialized production lines (e.g., for rubber-metal components, 3D printing filaments, or smart coatings).
We collaborate with industry across sectors such as defence, mobility, construction, energy, and environmental technologies. Our strength lies in combining deep materials science expertise with engineering capabilities, certified labs, and commercialization experience.
We are actively seeking partners for joint R&D, international consortia (e.g., Horizon Europe, EDF), and technology validation projects.
