My organisation
GATE (Ghent Advanced Therapies and Tissue Engineering) is a collaborative initiative between UGent, UZ Gent, VIB-UGent, and imec-UGent. Established in 2020, GATE focuses on the innovative development and clinical translation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). Our consortium consists of 63 principle investigators from six UGent faculties, UZ Gent and VIB. We aim to bridge basic, technological, and clinical research to create end-to-end solutions that facilitate the ‘bench-to-bedside’ translation of ATMPs in an academic setting, by promoting research excellence, innovation, and fostering a robust ecosystem. We are looking for opportunities to engage with potential partners and stakeholders to continue driving innovation and excellence in the field of advanced therapies.
