Bikademy

Bikademy is a Croatian impact-tech company developing a digital platform that motivates people to cycle more and helps cities, companies and tourism destinations measure the resulting environmental and social impact.

Through the Bikademy mobile app, users record bicycle rides, participate in gamified challenges, explore locations and earn rewards. The platform combines two complementary approaches. Bikademy Challenges encourage everyday cycling through inclusive distance categories, leaderboards and incentives, while Bikademy Studies transform cities and destinations into interactive cycling experiences based on visits to selected cultural, natural and tourism locations.

For cities and regions, Bikademy can support resident engagement, sustainable-mobility campaigns, cycling promotion and the collection of aggregated insights such as participation, rides, kilometres, estimated CO₂ savings and cycling movement patterns. For companies, it provides employee cycling challenges, internal engagement campaigns and measurable mobility-impact reporting. For tourism destinations, Bikademy encourages visitors and residents to explore local attractions by bicycle, supports local rewards and contributes to more sustainable and geographically distributed tourism.

The platform is operational and has already been used for cycling campaigns, challenges and location-based experiences in Croatia and Spain. Bikademy also uses blockchain technology as an optional mechanism for transparent digital rewards, while keeping the user experience simple and accessible.

Bikademy is interested in joining Horizon Europe consortia as an SME technology and implementation partner. We can contribute an existing pilot-ready platform, gamification and incentive mechanisms, participant recruitment and engagement, active-mobility and sustainable-tourism pilots, behavioural-change activities, impact measurement, communication and replication across different European locations.

We are particularly interested in projects related to sustainable and inclusive mobility, climate-neutral cities, multimodal transport, healthy communities, behavioural change, smart tourism, cultural and natural heritage, citizen engagement and community-driven sustainable tourism.
