Electrification for companiesVoltaage is a French–Italian deep-tech SME building an AI-powered decision platform for planning, deploying and optimizing infrastructure networks.

We combine geospatial intelligence, real operational data and AI agents to analyze territories, predict demand and recommend where to build next, ensuring that public and private investments generate the highest possible impact and utilization.

What we do
Our platform transforms fragmented urban data — mobility patterns, traffic flows, grid constraints and usage signals — into actionable infrastructure decisions. We are evolving toward Agentic GIS: autonomous AI agents that not only visualize data on maps but actively identify optimal locations, forecast demand and generate planning deliverables for decision-makers.

Proof of traction
Our platform leverages live operational data from more than 5,100 EV charging points across 2,603 cities in France and Italy, operated by paying Charge Point Operator (CPO) clients. We already support public authorities in data-driven mobility and infrastructure planning, including ADEME (Vallée de la Seine), Regione Puglia and Regione Valle d'Aosta. To date, we have guided the deployment of 168 new charging stations while supporting a 2x increase in territorial coverage. Voltaage is backed by EIT Urban Mobility, Techstars, Bpifrance and AWS.

Relevance for Smart Communities
Within Horizon Europe initiatives (Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy & Mobility and the Mission Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities), Voltaage provides the decision-intelligence and digital-twin layer that connects EV charging, grid and energy infrastructure planning. Our solution helps cities and regions accelerate their climate-neutrality roadmaps through data-driven planning, open data and interoperability.

What we are looking for
We are seeking cities and regions willing to act as pilot sites, DSOs and energy utilities, research institutions, and complementary technology partners interested in building Horizon Europe Smart Communities consortia together.
